First time sailing this spot with new speed kit and a gps.

This location is actually why I got into speedsailing many many years ago, borrowing kit from my sponsor at the time, and the Irish Record holder back then - Colman Phelan.

Used to try his Jimmy Lewis 'Mud Sharks' in Sutton, and loved it !  Of course we had no gps back then, but the feeling of blasting on a tiny board in a gale became addictive.

Anyway.. Sutton has potential for faster, just needed a slightly better wind angle, and a touch more wind.  Good to get some runs under the belt though, and the rest of the week looks like there may be more speed sessions coming.

Also really nice to find a good speed course in Dublin that works in SW winds, while Burrow works best in N and NE winds.
