Been a good 3-day's of much needed speedboard practice. No great speeds but managed to sort out a lot of shit. A good turn out of speedies today. Looking forward to a proper solid WNW, not this gusty shit that we seem to have been getting all year. Stroll on autum gales. Fun day:)

3rd Day of my tour of UK speed spots at West Kirby. Great day on the water and managed to improve all my PB's slightly so very stoked but wish it could have been windier so i could have had a decent crack at the 40 which i feel is only a matter of time when i get the right conditions.

Thought we might get a bit more wind than we did but hey it was a cracking blast smiley

okay session with changed direction and became very broad to the wall, however it was good to see and sail with farrel O'shea and steve thorpe. Just a pitty about the wind could have done with an extra 10-15 knots.

A great day on the water, really settling in on my iSonic 86, I learned loads and came away with a new PB on the alpha smiley

I know its kind of big by speed sailing standards but for me sailing with a 27cm fin was a first and I was really pleasantly surprised, no spin outs, decent upwind ability and considering the wind wasn't really that strong I was pleased with my speeds.

Looking at my stats on GPSResults I can see that sailing down the wall was only giving 30's and the higher numbers were had by bearing off into the lake which I gained confidence in as the day went on after some advice from Mark H which was worth its weight in gold - cheers Mark !
