Vinden var OK i 10 minuter i det 7 timmar långa heatet, svårt att hinna runt banan dock och sätta 3 stycken repor över 28 knop.. Annars en skön dag på vattnet.

What an odd day. I'd almost go say that there were got 3 days in one!

We started off in the middle of the harbour doing 500m runs slightly over 20 knots. After lunch the wind had swung and we were doing 500m runs around 25 or 26 knots. A one-off squal at quarter past three allowed us to get one decent run down the course and that's when I got my best speeds. I could have happily done that run with 7.0m, 92L / 60cm board and weight jacket!

All in all another fun day at Weymouth Speed Week.

WSW day 5 and an unexpected period of reasonable NW wind.  Able to use the shore course but it was really broad.  Off the pace and not at all settled..its been a while since I was on big kit!

Got overtaken...twice!...not a good feeling on a speed course!

day 3 wsw , not very windy just enough to plan but got fed up with crap direction so packed up

wish i hadnt as wind blew though in better direction for a hour but thats life ah

Last windy day at Weymouth Speed Week. I had the smallest board and sail out on the water, The day didn't count as 20% of the fleet did not achieve 3 runs over 28 knots.
