Southend day 2, met up with Simon and Matt, we waited a few hours till 9.30 and it was still only 15 knots of wind SSW.

Decided to go out on slalom kit and could'nt get going on that for a while, then the wind picked up a bit and for the last hour it was nuking, speed board and 5.4 would of been perfect.....very frustrating but still a good sail.

Wind iffy so had some good chats out on the sand bar.  Always meet good people out on the Ray without fail! 

Wind picked up but I was knackered by this time. Some runs felt quicker  but thats probably because I was wrestling my gear. 

It seemed very shallow today so you had to sail a way out from the bar. I still managed to go storming straight through some gravel at full chat. Very loud and fin notched most way up but  didn't do a face plant so I am happy.

cracking day at the ray , although it felt fast it just never happened , good to be out though
