Bloody windy an bumpy at felixtow -- havent sailed on big seas lately an a bit rusty

good fun trying to go quick comin in on the swells

4.7m/85l perfect for first half of session riding swells well powered up, better rollers by golf. Second half of session would have been better on 4.2m still good fun belting down some rollers, and even managed some jumps, but need to get more vertical. Loads out on 4-5m. Got a bit gusty later as I think it swung a bit off-shore. Shattered in the end, even a re-fuel of tea and Mars bar did not help.

Having just got back from France and with my gps seized up ( luckily a friend took it home and updated the firmware and it is working :) but it is running very slow :( - cheers Steve C!!! ) so I sailed my home beach at The Dip, Felixstowe for the first time this year !!! It was not my favourite sailing - small board/sail in strong winds in the lumpy North Sea - oh to have a nice flat water or wave spot nearby but the sun shone and for once the windsurfers outnumbered the kiters !!! I started with 5.6 but changed to 4.8 as the wind increased during the day. I tried a few jumps, even managed some gybes and went to explore the rough water in the river mouth, so not too bad a day and great to be out with your mates :)
