Day 4 at Karpathos: this is what I came here for! Had loads of fun today with the small gear. The coarse was a bit broad in the morning, but got better in the afternoon, although the wind dropped a bit then.

First time with the Slingshot 21 under this board and haven't sailed this board that much alltogether, but I was very happy with that combination. The fin felt really safe, and the upwind speed was very good, as well as how high I can point the board. Thanks Jurjen for selling it :)

5.4 may have been small at times, but it's easy to control in the gusts, which is also a deciding factor here.

Hopefully tomorrow another one of these days!

Today I broke +40kn, one of my main goals this year

It was nice with some real wind today

The wind was very north and broad, and rolling was coming in all day, even breaking in the afternoon over the reef.

I just don´t get any proper speed. It does feel pretty good but the power is not with me. But thanks to all helpful speedos, I have some adjustments to try tomorrow.

Broken 7.0 and bent mast….

Not my day! Tried the 5.0 sail for the first time, but it was too small in these gusty conditions. Just a lot of struggling in the wind holes and finally I gave up without having even one good run :-(
