Great session. I was first our with 96l./6m after Pete C and Ian helped carry my gear to Golf, eager for guinea pig to get out. Sea was lovely smooth rollers and waves, Just about powered on 6m then wind picked up and nicely powered. Quite a few more came out with some going into flat water in river.Managed to ride some wave in both directions. with one jump that hurt my shoulder so no more of that. More wind near Golf so stayed that end.
As day went on sea got a bit choppier, but waves bigger. Eventually had half an hour on 85l/5.2m which was fun and less bouncy. Great rides down waves. Andy broke board, Strawb a mast, andAl lucky not to. Fantastic day. Forgot to switch GPS on for about an hour so distance is a bit of a guess.

Good conditions at Felixtowe (Dip) big swells . bit hairy getting out . went in the river mouth and had some good fun trying to get a good alfa -managed to beat Steve carters spot record ( I think?) but blew a big hole in my old north rotational 6.5 -- walked miles to get 6.5 simmer but conditions not so good with higher tide - sailed to far down the river got massive wind shadow dropped in wizzed up river with srong current got the ferry back!  good day enjoyed it
