Very windy ,big gusts but bang square course. Not the best day for good speeds.

Very hard to sail Wells channel in such a square direction. I had a serious arguments with the high (east side) sand bank - ended up me in the channel... board 20m away up the bank ! No damage to me or kit :-)

This bank has real potential.. but it MUST be pure West with a touch of north.

You know it's hard work when you are saling 10 knots LESS than the wind - it was that square.

Well done everyone who sailed it today... it was HARD WORK with no real reward

not a bad day, i opted for wave board today as the wind had south in it, not a lot but any at wells is not good! had a good sail, wind was gusty with some big gusts approx 40mph. At times i wish i'de have taken my speed kit out but overall it was good fun, my gt31 said 32.07 max on one run, on a 12 year old wave board! I watched in horror as Tristain had an argument with the east bank, all was ok thankfully.

Ps wrong fin listed, just a northshore wave 21

Well done Mungo ! Good speeds on a Simmer Black Tip !!!
