No wind in the morning. We went to Lefkos instead, great day at the marvelos beach and great food at Dramountana Restaurang. Drove by the beach on the way home and set a few runs after 5 o clock.

The day started with slightly onshore conditions. Uhoh... so I decided to do some sightseeing and check back later. When I arrived at roughly 2:30 pm the conditions were already a lot better, but still seemed a bit up and down. Waited a bit more and then decided I would see how the 6.3 would perform, since I had never used that sail before. Gradually the wind increased more and more though, so it turned out to be the size for the day.

Course was pretty good, you had to be lucky with a gust of course, but upwind was pretty choppy. Nice sailing today, speeds are gradually improving as I get more accustomed to this venue. Progression is good ;)

Karpathos!cool

Second day OOF, started late (14.30 ish) and was the only speeder on the water. Did lots of runs with a very gusty Northerly wind. Had a hard catapult tripping over the rail and chop, very lucky I didn't brake anything. than straight away 1 good run with 70 + max and then hours of not coming close to that speed. Surfed a lot, later Aone came and his surfing was looking good and some more speeders went out. In the end I was the last speeder on the water and tried for my last run, hit the reef and broke of my fin. It was a long way back surfing without a fin but made it on my own (no rescue).

Posting is for King of Paradise off course blush.
