Quite hairy conditions today, low waterlevel and well choppy.
In the beginning I took it easy and after a while Wessel and I both found a place where we did our best runs.

In the end I was alone on the water and it didn't feel like a good idea to keep on doing runs with just a few centimeters of water underneath the fin and a dropping waterlevel. If I had done my homework better I would have known I had to do at least one more fast run to pass Luc in the competition, then maybe I would have given it a go once more.. (maybe the hughe piece of wood we found and removed from the bottom earlier had something to do with that haha)

Nevertheless a very nice day and I broke my PB on my homespot with 0.2 km/h :)
Also happy with the 500 meters!

Thanks for the hospitality Wessel!

zeer veel wind en een klotsbak. wel lekker gevaren na 2 jaar weer eens op mijn rww.

It has been a while since a proper speed session so this was pretty great! Very shallow waters so we had to take caution. I decided to go for the left foot forward approach which seemed faster to me. This course was super flat (as in: super flat for Makkum with 30 knots) but because of the shallow water the course was too short. A very enjoyable session though!

Choppy suicide
