Massive wind forecast today but the tides were not ideal. Opted for Daymer in preference to st johns but after floating over to the bank the wind died. It then only started to kick in after low tide and was really turbulent and gusty. The course was also too broad.

Couldn't get any good runs in and even when I caught a 35knot gust, the board didn't accelerate at all! and I got a nothing run... very odd. After an hour or so the tide was too high and there was only a very short run into oncoming swell so gave up. Glad to be on the water and some good exercise. Popped down to the lake after and it was even more gusty there so didn't bother sailing there.

Havent had a really great sail at Daymer for some time now, it doesn't seem to be as good as it once was?
