Humph !

Can I go back in time and press snooze on the alarm at 5:50am !

Water level was good

Wind Angle was PERFECT for first 2 hours... but not enough

Well done Andy and Tony for kicking my butt... or were they just lucky gusts that kept following you round :-)

Early start, wind wasn't great to start but nice W direction but no power to it, we carried on and when tide turned at 10:30 the wind swang to more NW with some stronger (just) gust and managed to get some short blasts in.

When it's a good w or slightly north of w you can sail the main drag fine, but when it goes nw you need more water to sail the top bend as it was too shallow there today an hour either side of low water but then the current gets strong. A neep low tide on nw would be fun, it's a job to say every direction and tide state as they all work together and the channel at the topend is curved. check it out on Bing maps birdseye that's the best image I've found. I reckon a NE on a neap would be very interesting, two ends of the channel to go at and good angles on both tacks.

Ground my fin bad today :-(((( resin and sand paper will ease the pain.
