Today a "Surf-Safari" to the southern coast of the Darß-Zingster lagoon chain. Michaelsdorf sounds like my own speed spot and I was really motivated for this trip :-)  I was here once before in the late 90s. The satellite view showed potential for a good speed spot (a north-south directed flat land spit without trees and bushes), but only 15-25 cm water depth in the landcover. More leeward the chop was short and steep up to 40 cm, good for jumping. More Leeward is another chance in the cover of a small island, but I was alone at the water and wanted not risk to much.

6.3 m2 was very very well powered. 

On the tour back I visited Neuendorf (nice for families and beginners, slalom pilots, maybe fast with less wind) and Saal (overcrowded and to much kite surfers).

A lot of wind wasted for a slow day... seems to be no speed spot in "after work distance" to Warnemünde. Maybe Roggow at the Salzhaff is my next safari spot after trying Pepelow and Rerik a month ago, this spot should have the best potential in this lagoon.
