Nice afternoon sailing with Neil H, wind was very gusty and up and down. Mostly around 10/12 knots and sometimes gusts around 15/16k. If you were lucky and on the gusts you could get some half decent runs, but luck was needed. We where going to pack up around 7pm but we noticed a some rain clouds a mile away, we opted to stick around just in case the wind picked up, this paid off. We put our formula boards away and switched to xl slalom boards, I think Neil might have also switched to his 7.8m too. We waited ten minutes and bingo, wind picked up and went wnw. It only lasted ten minutes but it was enough for me to get my three fastest runs of the day. First, second and third ten second runs were on the iS137 and fourth and fifth ten second runs were done on the Formula 161. Was fun.

Long Day on the water with the best speeds achived in the last half hour or so, but worth the wait. As Mark H has said, we were about to pack up for the day but decided to wait for the rain clouds. Up until the last half hour my peak was 25knts

Started the day on the Starboard Fourmla 159 with a Tushingham Formaula 9.6 rigged on Tushingham 490 75% which is softer than the Fibraspar mast I normally use. Later I rigged X-15 7.6 with the my old Thommen 305 and then on the Falcon 133. Also tried the new RRD firewing 8.5?(thanks Simon) which sets a lot flatter than theTushingham, I would say similar to the Neil Prdyes.
