Supergusty today. Tried some speeding with CA66 and 36 fin. It was fun but no good speed.

Satans byigt och svårseglat !

Grymt svårseglat idag. Antingen ingen vind alls eller på tok för mycket.

Lyckades få till 3 bra repor så blev PB på 2sec, max display och 100 meter. Displayen = 37,98 knop!

I thought the wind would pick up efter lunch, so I waited..  Some gusty runs after a superb lunch at poseidion.

A bit tricky today

Troligtvis den sämsta surfdagen sedan tuttelboxen kom till... Bajs med stora bokstäver säger jag!!!!

wieder ein wunderschöner surftag in den blauen wässern. wind ging den ganzen tag rauf und runter, am abend als dann um halb sechs der richtige karpathos wind kam sass ich bereits beim mythos. die schnellsten drei runs waren mit armins hurricane speedslalom 31. der 98 xfire läuft unglaublich kontrolliert für die grösse. morgen wirds dann zeit für mehr topspeed und die lovemachine mit 6,4.

Sessie 54: Een dag met veel vlagen but: Anyday on the water is a good day! Oane Kingma heeft top gevaren!

Nice day. Only on the water end of the morning. Did not sailed a lot as I wanted to save the few energy that is left in my arms for the comming days. Fellow Frisian speedsurfers (Dick, Johan and Oane) had the change to be on the water until 18:30 with some nice gusts.... Oane Kingma was on fire.

Sailed for the first time with my Challenger Sails Aero 6.3....awesome sail very happy with it.

Very good combination with the Carbon Art SP60......but as my friend Daniel Borgelind said it is time to use the Carbon Art SP53!!! So I do hope that tomorrow I can try it out for the first time. 

And for now.....Mythos Time!!

Srange day at karpathos, wind up and wind down. I could not find the good windgust.

But Oane did it, and made a very good run. I tried  also the new FF50 but it was most of the time to small. the top speed and fastest run were on it.

Day 11 at Karpathos.

'Waiting for wind...' if ever this mantra was appropriate, it would be today.

The day started off very weird; the forecasted wind came very late and was gusty as hell. I couldn't make heads or tails of it and by the time Dirk-Jan and me decided to take a break I didn't even have 60 avg on the dial. However during our break the wind had increased dramatically without us really realising it. So when Johan came back amd reported 70's, we were pretty dumb founded.

It took quite a bit of patience, but in the end we were rewarded. When everyone had packed up, the end slowly started to increase and we decided to hit the water. Straight off the bat I was increasing my average kept climbing, until I had one good gust which delivered a 65 run. A couple of minutes later: 69...

By then the wind was a bit lower again and it was closing time, so we packed up our stuff.

It feels good having redeemed ourselves after such a frustrating day! Curious what tomorrow will bring...
