Nice sunny sessin at The Brace...it's been a while!

Wind picked up, dropped a bit and in the end poicked up again. The angle was perfect, the water not that flat, but it was great sailinghere again! The UFO ASY HA Carbon fins are awesome!

Nice day at the Brace. Could have used some more wind. Great weather, sun, 20 degrees, 23 knots, it doesn't get much better then this.

very nice session in good company as always.

I started with a visit from the environment lovers.....but we survived this time.

In the beginning I had directly good runs, real powered up and a lot of drive. The second run was 77 avg, so I thought this is very promising and probably I can finally break my pr. But instead of going faster i went slower and slower. All the time I had no wind in the course. At the end I got two more runs 79 and 78, so luckily we could end the session with good runs but no pr. 

I love and hate this place, the walk back was .....

Sessie 61: Helaas woei het aan de Bierdijk niet zo stevig daarom nam ik het besluit om met de Mistral 47 ipv Mistral 41 te gaan varen, achteraf niet zo handig... Toch een mooie sessie waar de eerste helft met de Tribal 21 cm is gevaren en de tweede helfdt met de Z SB 21 cm. Wel erg tevreden over dit resultaat! Erg gezellig met Anne Evert, Jurjen, Dylan, Gerlof, Martin, Serge en ondergetekende. Op naar de volgende sessie, in deze windrijke week!

Great to be out on the brace again. Sorry for the late posting but I was home very late last night and had to work from early on this morning. It's quite a mission to come from Terschelling and be in time again for the ferry on the way back. I had to stop a little earlier and was underpowered on the 5.5 but still I had a blast. 

As I lost 17 kilo the last months I was a little reluctant to rig a 6.3 but still the wind was strong enough to get a good feeling. It's funny how the slower speeds make you fight more when the gust hits as you lack the lower base speed to counter the gusts. Still it was a great experience to be out for the first true speedsession again this year. I am already looking forward to the next time!

The handling of the board is simply stunning and I feel it will prove to be a killer when truly windy conditions arrive.
