Another session chasing the gusts in these "on-off" gusty conditions. The forecasted 20k westerlies never arrived, what we had was wnw to nw winds ranging from 5k to 15k gusts, a lot of slogging today. But when you did find a small gust, it was nice. Maybe should go be with a 9.5m. Very busy on the lake today. Good to see Mark B back after 12 months skiving off windsurfing:) . And John Martin did his first ever gps session today, hopefully the first of many. Under powered session, but fun. Oh, and when I de-rigged, the wind went full westerly and 20 knots. Bugger!

@Mark.H - you cheeky sod, two house moves in the last 12 months with kit in storage etc etc, but I'm back now so you betta watch out, ha ha :-)

Great to be back at West Kirby and to catch up with the everyone out today. Never overpowered but always enough to be on the plane for most of the time. Would have been nice if we had a bit more wind but for me it was the perfect 'get back into it' session. Good fun and looking forward to seeing John.M post his first session.

My very first session of which I hope to post many more, great day todat at West Kirby, looking forward to the next session already
