today was the day Iw as waiting for the last three weeks.
Solid 8 Bft with gust above 45 knots coming along with some flying water in the Poseidon bay.
Started the session with TR-X 5.5 and W54. Sail was good and well controllable in the huge gusts. However the gusts where to short and also the direction was to broad in the run. After a break the wind slighlty dropped and I changed to Reflex 6.2 - what a nice sail!
The wind and even the gusts were still strong well in the 40s and direction turned more west, so the runs were well powered, and was able to make my fastest run. Unfortunately we ran out of time and power at 6:30 pm. as just one or two more fast runs were missing to take the lead in the Odyssey of Speed. ...
