Had to wait for a few hours on the spot because the wind was to much and a bit square. When the conditions got better and I went for the first run I could not believe my eyes when I saw 85 run on the display. It felt so easy. But after the walk and surf back the energy dropped quickly.

Great day on the water with good company.

The 5.0 Sailloft felt nice and controllable as always.

What a windy day. 5.0 was the right size, luckely because that was the only sail I had with me. ????

Damm that was a windy survival morning session.

Can't recall being on the water with this much wind.

Only had the morning till 10:30 because I had to be home at 12:30.

Bit square and around 10:00 it was hauling 60 knots.

Even the walk back to the shore was a challenge with the gear.

Vlissingen's weather station recorded gusts up to 120 km/hr ( 65 knots).

5km on the board and another 7 km walking, I think I almost used as much energy as my 220 km on the racebike last Sunday, haha.

Nice session in the kids pool.

Almost 2 years ago since I last sailed here (19/03/2019). Didn't get the real acceleration but the 10s and 500m speeds are pretty good. Did 13 runs in total, from which 12 were above 81,2km/u on 10s. Happy I didn't damage my special 96km/u Z-fin asy!

Leon, well done dude!

So nice to be on the water again. It was surely worth a day off the office.

There was sun, it was warm and there was plenty of wind, hell yeah!

Made one 10" run of 80.... would like to make 4 more another time ;-)

(sail= old Evo6 5.0m from Dennis, thx! nice sail for today)

Woke up and checked forecast. Mmm it's going to be nucleaire. Checking body status and status of mind. Two times negative. Car was full but called it a day. Sitting at my desk looking outside. Trees bending and the wind was howling around the house. Every 10 minutes checking windmeters, first with spikes around 50+ knots and later 60+ knots. Happy to be home I tought. After 12 the wind was dropping and forecast showed peak was over. Made lunch and jumped in the car as I couldn't hold it anymore. At the spot wind was good. Picked gear and had a go with not to high goals. No speeds at all till Jouri told me to put my baseplate a bit more to the front. Best run was after this change. A pitty that the wind was going more down and turned a bit more to the west. Happy that I did had a go. Leon gratz with the speeds of today you did a amazing job:)

super dag!

Not bad after almost 2 monts of no sailing and only working

Body complete destroyed but was fun plz more days like this

Took me to long to get used to the conditions to bad.

But happy with the speeds ;)

Was already messed up from the Kwade plaat my knee was messed up from swimming and arms burning so wasn't really motivated till i did a 88 run but then the wind was gone. Still happy to get some numbers in.

First day on a windsurfboard  after a break of four months....and then directly a little bit of wind ..hehe

need one hour to get back into speed mode and then speeds went higher and directly better... 43.55 / 44.09 and on the way back ... stone ...ahhhhh

during fin change the wind dropped to much ...and i can´t hold the speeds :-(

looking forward for the next storms !

Hands up for all speeders who enjoyed the fight against the nature

Nice to be back on the water! Needed time to get used to the conditions, but had some fun :)

Posting with GT-31, 'cause GW60 download is not working properly, think I miss one run, had to leave the GT-31 in the backpack after some time with a damaged aquapack. Average on the GW60 is slightly higher.

Te weinig:

- water

- boardvolume

- opstaptechniek
