Wasn't feeling it today, so opted to use the big board today, and glad I did because I gave the big board a material PB. Its true I probably would have been a little faster on the smaller W44, but I was having good time on the W53. It was fun sailing with regulars, they we're all flying. Was fun.

Cold but good day at WK.

Went slightly too small on a 5.2evoXI / SD40 1st thing, tried the bigger SD43 which improved things.

After lunch rigeed 5,6evoX and got the best of it, pretty maxed with 11kg on the SD43, had two near 44kt peaks(43.85 & 43.8on the dial).

A cold day for March.  First decent session on the jp45. I was keeping up speed wise with Dave Willows earlier in the day.  But struggled to keep pace in the afternoon.  I think mainly I was underpowered for most of the day, I could of done with a bigger sail really or maybe used the falcon.  my next size up being 6.4 which with lack of experience,  could of been too much.  Close to my pb so can't complain.  Maybe next time.

Not been windsurfing since December 2023 as not decent west diection wind forcast, finally.  Drove up night before and stayed in Travel lodge Bromborogh and checked in after 11,15 pm. Today I was intrested in Insta 360 x3 set up on new set up, all ready and found i put camera in back to front, so back out a=to turn camera around, from that point it fogged up inside dive case even with inserts, so after much faffing took out of dive case and swapped camera attachments so coulduse without dive case, result worked really well and much clearer with way less sticking lines, camera is waterproof but still more risk, my re-glued pads held well. used isonic 53lt board and old Neilpyde 5.2 evo. main batton no longer streches sail out even fully wound adjuster so sail not set very well and need to check cam ends ect to look at fix, also to much outhaul on sail and not enough bag, west north west to west and back again so started out quite choppy and in mid afternoon it finally went west and nice flat water came back, i was starting to get quicker on each run but as usual was getting tired as took in a moufull of sea water and made breathing harder as went on my chest, still a great day but took ages to get comfortable and dialed in, i concidered changing up to 5.6 for more speed with weight jacket but with all the faffing around with the camera i could not be asked,  hoping for more west wind soon. still a very enjoyable day with fellow speedy freinds all beeing a cold 5c on arrival and cold wind chill for late march. I also did more miles than this but swapped GW.60 watch as the batterys do not last all day.
