Final Posting for the Odyssey of Speed.

As Dirk Jan Knol would say today was '7 Meter Wetter' on Karpathos.

So I went for another try for the 1 Hour. It was quite tough as I am very tired after three weeks of windsurfing in Karpathos with wind every day. Also the high chop in Gun Bay was not helping, however I managed to achieve 23,8 Nm.

Today the Odyssey of Speed closes. I believe we had a good start for the first time with this event format. We learned something and we had very good wind and a lot of fun. I am sure we will have another Odyssey in the a similar format next year. As everybody could see from the frequent postings everyday, Karpathos is really the place to be in summer in Europe when it comes to consistent high wind and speedsurfing. I would like therefore to encourage more speeders to consider to come to this beautiful and windy place next year and join us on the Odyssey..  

But where are the results? 

If you consider to have this event running beside the King of Paradise the same weeks, you could at least present some kind of results. At least after the event has closed...
