nice, sunny day ; unfortunately a little bit too square and choppy

the beach is not straight in the moment with many sandbars, so only short runs possible

yesterday showed winds up to 60 knots, so an unforgettable expierience, but for me no fast times possible; way overpowered with 4.7 qm

Zeer matige dag op Franqui. De swell wilde maar niet weg gaan dus de condities waren verre van ideaal. Tussen de ondieptes en brekende golven moest je je runs richting zee maken. Niet mijn ding. In 1 van de laatste runs kwam ik met 78.5 een golf tegen die afliep in de hardste crash tot nu toe. Trapezetouw gelukkig gebroken en alles heel, maar ik ging letterlijk drie keer over de kop. Daarna was de wind heel snel weg. Misschien morgenochtend vroeg nog een sessie en anders weer richting huis.

Het was vandaag weer niet makkelijk  in La franqui, opkomende swell, wind eerst veel te haaks, en dan ook nog eens zandbanken die je moest ontwijken, niet super dus!!! Maar toch nog een paar redelijke runs neer kunnen zetten. Het was de eerste dag dat het eindelijk een beetje warmer was, met veel zon.  Ook de goeie oude speed legende was even bezig Paskal Makka. Voor de rest een gezellige dag met  veel verschillende Nationaliteiten. Hopelijk morgen nog even!!

Great crowd on the water made it even better, was pretty windy but too square and lots of waves 

to avoid, bests speds were bearing off into the chop which saw some classy wipie outs, the best one by Paul B 10/10. GREAT DAY

My second day on a speedboard. Sailed with F2 Missile Small and Gaastra 4.5. 

The circumstances were "easier" then yesterday were i used my manic 3.3 to survive.

With every run i started to feel more confident. The longer harness lines, the tips from Anders, Patrick & Pascal. The inspiration of Dirk Jan & Sander, it all helped me.

Unfortunatly my day ended with a crash which caused a deep cut in my foot (caused by overtaking fin). Sander & DJ saw it happen and I want to thank you for asking if everything was ok (thumbs up). Back at the start I noticed it was deep enough to have stitches, therefor I rushed to the hospital in Narbonne.

It was a great day with a personal best for me with "only" 70.2kmh 2sec, but not to forget also because of the epic circumstances and the great people i have met these two days.
