RemarksThe last day of Weymouth speed week and relatively light winds so I was on my biggest slalom kit. We had one long session of 2.5 hours but I only sailed for the first two hours and in that time clocked up 30 nautical miles! As far as personal records go, I managed to get my best speeds to date on the JP Slalom 109 and Tushingham Lightning 8.5m (e.g. peak speed, 10s, 5 x 10s, 500m). My official speed for the 544m course was 24.94 knots which matches up very closely to my GPS readings (see above). At the end of the day, we finished off with a master blaster and I came in third, winning a DaKine hydration pack (like a Camelback).

Tech Details: Navi GT-11 v1.62 (B1115), GPSAR Pro v3.4, Doppler.
