It is time to announce the  annual Estonian Speed King 2009 . This is the 1st year for this event, which runs from 25st of April 2009 to the 30st of November. Thanks to the Support of our Sponsor Surfhouse , we have great prizes .

Speed shall be measured by the "Average of the 5 Fastest Ten Second Runs". The Estonian Speed King 2009 follows the rules set out by the GPS Speedsurfing. It is also recognised by theGPS Speedsurfing. It is also recognised by the Estonian Windsurfing Association.

This event is designed for sailors of all skill levels, from beginners to the most experienced windsurfer. But you have to be in it to win it
And its FREE!!! Apart from a small donation to the running of the GPS speedsurfing site, you can enter as many times as you like all season long. We want you to participate as often as you can.
The official GPS unit of the Estonian Speed King 2009  is the GT-11, GT-31 by LOCOSYS Technology. But Garmin units such as the Foretrex 201 and Forerunner 201 are still acceptable.

This Event runs on a completely flexible schedule over a 7 month period. You decide when you want to race.. The Windguru Weather  forecasts are quite accurate up to 5 days in advance. Find a windy day this fits your schedule.. See our "Rules" and "Equipment" pages for more information.
