A big possy of UK sailors were sailing today and a few massive times were clocked. Bob C got a display time of over 45knts......wow. Cant wait to see his stats. Simon H saw over 40knts for the first time on his GPS and Alan Cross was so, so, so, so close to 40knts. It will come Alan, it will.
The speed strip got really square in the afternoon so as the wind picked up the times got slower. Shame as there were some massive gusts coming through killing all the casual sailors.
Good to see the south coast boys who had driven most of the night to be there early.....nice one. | |
