The Serenity is designed as a light wind cruising board; but it is fun to see how fast it will go.
Highest speed indicated has been 16.5 knots; but just for 1 second; 14.6 is the best it has managed over any distance.
Winds were light (planing on large board and huge sails); I used the smaller provided fin which provides more speed and stability.
On flat water it will not go faster than around 13 knots; you need to push it down a convenient swell to get more out of it.
