So today I went over the edge. Just asked a littlebit too much and I payed for it. JUst after one insane run on the IS87 with a pretty big slalom fin for the given speed I crashed full onto my fin. The fin sliced through the padding of my harness, into my suit and in my buttom. I just had a repair job at the hospital haha. Hope I can sail tomorrow because my leg hurts like hell.

The run before the crash I watched the board and a couple of times for at least 50 metres it was flying on the fin. I already felt I was over the edge but didn't want to let go. It resulted in an insane run of 77,3km over 500 which started on full chop in the midle of the lake. A Horst personal best with a 6,3, a slalomboard and a 30cm fin. It was simply an insane ride and I knew I had to quit with this set because I could feel it was getting really dangerous but didn't listen to my inner voice and payed for it like said. I was real lucky nothing serious happened.

I wanted to tune and test the set-up for tomorrows USM. We're expecting les wind and I wanted to know if I could be competitive with this set. It sure does look like it, but I think Peter will have taken the day on his Falcon Speed.

Thanks for your help Jan. I appreciate it a lot you stayed with me while sailing back and helped me out later!

Le'ts hope the USM will get enough wind for a pleasant race. It's good also less experienced riders get a chance to really go for it since it will probably not be extremely windy.
