At last after 9 months waiting we have a decent wind on a saturday! Wind speed was taken from an anometer at the waters edge.

Damer bay works great in the NW wind. I was about 20 metres away from the bank in small chop & a 1/2 foot swell.

The C4 speed was at the mid settings. I would have tightened it up if i felt out of controll, but it felt as if it could handle more wind.

Not one spin out on the Sonic with the Select 30.

Sailing is soooo much easier in flatter conditions. I was a little tense at the start of the session & over sheeted the sail a little. When i started to get used to the faster conditions, I started to think what i was doing during the runs.

I've never been as fast as this! 40 knots may not be as far away as i feared.
