Why so negative, it's only a day since you posted your question? This site is run by volunteers, and as it is holiday time, they might not respond within a day.

The problem you got is not with the GPS, but with the validation of your track. It seems you posted your first track and is you can read in the rules they need to be checked by a time keeper. In the rules you can also read who to send an e-mail if you got questions about time keeping.

There is also a lot writting about how to operate the GT-31. Please have a look in the info section.

Thanks for the reply and it's a little trick I learnt many years ago to see if a site is actually up and running or just fallen into disrepair. I'll delete it once I figure out how to.
