Nice afternoon sail with Chris,  John and alistar. Wind was blowing 25k NW when I arrived, so rigged a 7m. As soon as I got on the water, it dropped to 15k - 20k and swung WNW. Started in the W58. Stayed on the W58 for an hour or so, felt very underpowered on the 7m. I should have come in and rigged a 7.8m, but couldn't be arsed, so switched to the bigger iS107. I took my Gobandit gps camcorder, sailed with it for an hour and only just realised that I did not switch it on, dohhh. Not perfect, but was fun.

Turned out to be a great day at West Kirby after the rain earlier in the day dissapearing to sunshine. Started out on my Mistral Speed 55 with the KA Race 7.1 for the first run which turned out to be my fastest run of the day of a peak speed of nearly 33 knots, but then wind dropped slighlty so switched to my Mistral Slalom 112 to get a bit of extra volume in the lulls, just really working on my windsurfing fitness after being off the water so long with my knee injury but i'm getting there. Just wish the wind could have been a bit stronger as the water was so flat along the wall and some big speeds could have been achieved if we were able to get onto the smaller speed boards. Great to see Mark H and Chris Bates on the water also.

Loving the new KA Race, so stable in the gusts and has a massive wind range :-D
