Missed the first front - which turned out to be the session as far as wind action was concerned- and spent the rest of the very patchy afternoon enjoyably cruising the Inlet well underpowered on CR5m6 (should have taken the bigger ones, YES)- but good time to check out fins on the iSonic W53 (runs 4+5 of fastest 5 done on W53/C3 Venom 30cm). Took the OTW for a few runs with intention of running new widebase22 but course went very tight so stayed on the Strike22 - made the most of a few wild runs thru the channel chop :)

Nice social crew - Happy New Year !
A nice way to start the year. We were not sure it would be a real speed day but the wind filled in nicely late in the afternoon with a few nice but short rain/cloud bands getting up to the high 20's

Alphas done on CA50 with TM speed 26 fin. This board is slightly faster  when wound up than the IS86 and tips into the gybe easier at 35 knots but is much harder to maintain speed out of the gybe. I think it will get better with more practice though! ;-)

Lots of sailors out enjoying the conditions!
a nice day at the PiT albeit gusty.  the new combo revealed a little of its potential. cant wait for a decent wind
Missed the best wind while rigging then stuffed around on big slalom gear in the best conditions. Spent the rest of the day underpowered on my small speed gear then back on the big stuff to finish off.
Lots of fun and great catching up with the crew
That was a long day with some really fun moments. Sailed total of about 5 hours with many breaks to change between slalom and speed gear. Run 2 is actually on the SL55 with Koncept 2010 6.4 and 23 KA Symmetrical Speed fin. Man that combo is quick. That's the fastest I've ever pushed largish slalom gear.
