Good Days sailing.
Had to meet the DJ for our wedding so didn't really have time to go to Daymer, the wind was not ideal for it anyway and looked to be filling in after low tide. Had to go up to the crappy lake. In the end all turned out well, the sun was out, the water warm and the wind picked up at one point to around 20 knots. Started on the 34 drake fin which makes the gear so much less tiring to use and got a few ok times on that, the fastet couple of runs were on the F1 falcon fin. Wind was ok, water relatively flat throughout just could have done with another 5-10 knots of wind and speeds might have been nice. Pleased with the 500m time which i reckon is good since the lake is only about 500m long!!
Sadly my X9 boom has developed a crack in the end meaning it will probably break soon :-(
More wind forecast later in the week so could be a good finish to the summer hols
