nice day.stayed on bigger board...maybe the speedboard would have been quicker...but less fun

Getting to St Johns today was a complete mission - there's nothing like a rainy Bank Holiday Monday for all the grockels to collectively decide they are all going to go home at 1100.

6.4 felt nice in the gusts. Tried the 7.1 later and got a 34.6 peak, so all in all the new Vapors are tops.

Good sail.

The wind was patchy and fairly light, angle was perfect on the short course, but insufficient wind, whilst it was square on the long course with a large hole halfway down. Another 10 knots of wind and it would have been excellent...but i always say that.... Jonny vapor also looked very pleased with himself today with his flashy new rigs. Anyway pleased to have a sail and after driving home cold and exhausted my lovely wife had cooked me a great hot dinner... result

Manual post as GPS playing games! A day i'd rather forget, just couldn't get it together at all. Next time...
