I learnd a lot today!!

The tight angle made it impossible to go fast on the flat section so I should have dived into the chop further..

Hans and Jacques joined us today..... and Jacques has a story to tell.....

Hans some how found the turbo button today, we where quite equal at the start but I could not improve not even with all the tuning and changing I did today.

Marcel was on fire today he sailed some PR's WEL DONE!

John could not improve the BIG numbers from thursday.

Jeroen was in the zone and improved his best times with a PR!!

In conclusion I want to make a BIG compliment to the wad1team guy's for working as a wel oiled machine loading/unloading the boat today!!

Na donderdag is de drive een beetje weg bij me, heb al me doelen al bereikt voor dit jaar op het uur en alpha na van 50+, maar vond het daar vandaag te hard voor waaien en toch maar weer met W44 en 18 cm asy vin gaan varen, Jaqcues is wel voor uur gegaan en waarschijnlijk wereldrecord. Ik had zeil vandaag iets meer downhaul gegeven en mastvoet iets meer naar voren, setje liep daardoor heerlijk rustig, maar ik miste de echte harde vlagen (hamervlagen) op  1,5 keer na, wind was vaak te weinig ruim voor 5.6 waardoor ik te vaak leeg liep en ook iets meer westelijker als donderdag, waardoor je iets meer vol ruim de chop in moest om je af te laten schieten wat niet echt me ding is, Hans wel en hierdoor super gevaren , Marcel ook, bijna 90 max en PR gemiddeld, Jeroen ook PRs, super, al met al lekker gevaren en een super gezellige dag op het wad, bedankt allemaal

Zie dat ik zelf een alpha heb van 45+ en dat met asy vin en 44 cm breed board en ben er nou niet echt mee bezig geweest            Jacques heeft inderdaad een verhaal te vertellen

NICE !! 2 dagen wind in een week !!

Beetje minder als 2 dagen terug, maar ik had het beter voor elkaar.

89 op de gps...... de 90 komt eraan.

Ik weet wat ik moet doen de volgende keer to go for the big numbers !!

Well, finally the moment is there! 80+. Really happy, and also a new PR on Vavg. And 3/100 under my Alpha record. If there would be a Halpha ranking I would have taken the day victory 

I took my 6.3 which until now has been sailed with SDM, today I rigged 4mtr RDM. The feeling is so different, much softer. The first test run immediately showed a 78, but afterward hit the glass ceiling with 76max, 74run. But that turned for the good  Once we had a bit more wind, or me just being lucky with the gusts, the speeds went up. The 80 ended up in a crash, but who cares! The shot would definitely made the movie...

The plan was to go to Da Curve and try to break the dutch hour record. Was not even thinking of the world record as the bar is raised high by Australian Brad and on Da Curve you have to gybe every 2 km. On the beach i decided to take the JP Speed 45 and to make some speed runs after i finished the hour attempt. When we arrived on Da Curve with the waterscooter Hans noticed my board was gone, we lost it somewhere. Tried to find it on open sea with the waterscooter but without succes, went back to the car and took my JP Speed 50 with 23cm fin. I forgot that i hide my iphone in the boardbag of this board, so i found it by back on the beach totally wet, its not working anymore;-(. If somebody called or apped me, i'm not there. My hour is a new Dutch record, but only 0,1 knots slower than the world record! 

After the hour i did some runs but board and fin were to big to sail the high speeds Hans sailed today. Never expected to do 47 knots with this board and fin, so a little surprice. Marcel and Jeroen sailed a new personal best, well done. 

If somebody (in Germany or Denmark;-)) finds a JP Speed 45 2013 with black JP footstraps, please let me know. 

\Super Marcel, nog even en je bent dat mietje voorbij Jacques, jammer man,volgende keer pak je wereld record, dan doe ik ook mee voor 50+ op uur maar dan wel met iets minder wind

Weer heel wat aan mijn kleinkinderen te vertellen over vandaag. Jacques mooi kt zo'n dag maar wel heel erg goed gevaren. Marcel en Jeroen nicily done. Ik moet harder oefenen op de missile want ik kon mijn zwevende voorvoet niet wegtrimmen. 

zonde van je board Jacques, zo heeft ieder nadeel ook een voordeel; kun je wel weer een mooi nieuw boardje kopen, wellicht al een 2014 versie?
