A big thank you to  Mike who encouraged me to make the journey south and was my caddy and support for the day.

It was good to try a new spot on my latest gear and turned out to be a worth while trip with no incidents.

Met up with Gerhard and Mat, Juan decided to sail at Corralejo.

Hi George. Try Matas Blancas which is the bay just north from Costa Calma. The water is flatter and better speeds are achievable there and generally cross offshore. Might get down there myself tomorrow as the sea conditions at Caleta were lumpy as hell today.

PS. No Rocky Point to worry about either! Had my moments there too.
