Thats the third day in a row and another 29 n/miles making nearly 90 over the three days :) With sunshine and wind all day I was in no hurry to get down, saving myself until the tide had dropped down and hopefully flatter water. So Mag and I went out on the bikes for a short trip around Felixstowe - it was hard going into a head wind along the golf course :( So after lunch I loaded the car only taking one board and sail - a 133 and 7.8 and it was ok most of the time. I was on the water at 2:30 and the wind was a bit lighter than yesterday to start with and the water was lumpier :( It was an easy beat up to the river in fact I overshot and had some runs the other side of the shingle bar, I also tried the really flat water in the river but a strong tide and light winds meant it was a waste of time so I played in front of kite beach but the winds were lighter than yesterday and the sea was lumpy even close in and out past the red and white bouy you had chop on chop making turning a nightmare :( It was a slow session at this point only low 20's but great to be out with Peter Cutts - his first session of the year !!! Despite the sun it was cold not making 9 degrees all day :( and my hands suffered and I had to keep coming ashore to warm them up. Back at The Dip for a quick snack and with David Coles rigging up I decided to give it one last go - it was lucky I did as the wind had picked up even if the sea was still not as flat as yesterday but I managed all my best speeds including peaking at 26+ kts Not a bad session just needs to warm up !!!

First sail for a long long time - had a few health probs - great day with the O boys in the sun shine
