3rd time I've sailed Tamaki River. This time the wind arrived as forecast.

Cut my hand at work on Wednesday and went to A & E 8am this morning to have the  wound redressed.

Doctors orders were no sailing, but couldn't resist. Glad I made the effort!! Skin flap still attached, clean, pink and healing!!

Suspect I would have had higher speeds with 5.8. Could have had 28 Venom, or even 20 Slingshot on, but went with 6.2 and 30cm C3 Viper.

Should have been there an hour earlier instead of sailing at 10am.

One catapult earlier when foot left rear strap. Snapped main battern towards the end above clew. Kept on sailing.

Phil, Thanks for your advice. Next time I'll sail closer than 50 metres to the bar. Just being cautious with the new Viper!  Next time if its cranking and low I'll go for the 20 slingshot.
