Still having probs with GPS. 

I've been itching to try wells on easterly for ages, it did work but there was a wind shadow in the middle of course which would be ok on a stronger wind than today but if it had a bit of south in it would avoid the east hills shadow. ( a Norfolk hill !!) 

Lovely days sailing in the sun with a few mates, although a bit too square for records but pleased with speeds on biggish kit and happier with my new (old 90's) stance now, good practice until boom broke at 31 knots, no harm done it was old. I had too small a fin on, so there was nothing to drive from.

Wells will deliver one day, WNW, ESE or even NNE, hopefully I'll be there. . . . the quest continues.
