Hurray...finally able to post this....
This was my second sail at a new spot, and major step up for me personally. The thrill of seeing 40knots on the dial for the first time after being stuck at 35 something for so long was simply amazing!
There was a big difference in the runs, but it didn't feel that way. There must have been a slightly better angle for the fast runs.
Now I know the feeling of fast water, and I can't get enough of it.
