This is truly a fun spot. It will never be the fastest but at a Southerly flow for sure it can be fast. I could perfom a short test on the new Tribal Speed 25. The fin feels slippery and controllable. It's also super easy to point upwind. I rigged the 5.5 to wait for the predicted wind increase but when the wind arrived it immediately swung around 20 degrees making it impossible to sail the course. Again I felt the sheer force of the wind on this island. It's as if it's ten knots stronger than on the mainland. The 5.5 shoould have been way to small earlier but I had a fun evening and the size was feeling alright.
