Great afternoon sail with Dave! Very up and down so decided to take bigger board. First time out on the strip on it, 5.7 fresh out of the wrapper and tried waist harness for first time speed sailing as well. All felt really good and very happy with the 2 good runs I found for a 95 litre board!! Was shocked when I saw the numbers as it was too easy and felt fully in control. Liked the adjustment I could make with waist harness as well. I reckon I can get a few more knots out of the SR59 for sure and maybe guilty of taking speed boards out too early...

Very much right place at right time though, I had the edge earlier on but when the wind kick Dave's smaller board choice worked in his favour and found a couple of decent gusts. Hard to find one that lasted the whole length of the strip though!

First time been on fast kit for a long time, really good session and nice to have a speed strip with just 2 of us on it!
