It's been a bad run for windsurfing lately :( the other weekend I had a trip to Southend where I was underpowered with 7.8 ! then last weekend Sat was windy, I rigged 6.4 but the wind picked up and the sea was big as it was high water so I didn't go out, I tried The Dip after lunch which looked good with the tide dropping and sailors out on 4.7 / 5m but my trailer broke yet again on the way down so was fed up, so after a chat with some mates I chickened out and went home !!! Then today - with our youngest moving back home our van was full with his stuff !!! so after unloading, going to the dump I went to The Dip at midday, realised I had forgotten my mast as I have to carry my kit on the van with the trailer out of action. There didn't seem much wind now but sunny so after picking up my mast I headed to The Manor and parked at the end of the prom and rigged 7.8 and went out on the 133 but the wind was too light - I then swopped to the 147 lt. and had a okay 45 mins before the wind disappeared :( I have a night shift tonight and with some wind forecast tomorrow so fingers crossed for a sail.
