After a wave session with my 3.7 I saw the wind strength decreasing to reasonable levels and decided to rig my 5.6. The chop had pretty much vanished because of the wind shift and for a brief moment of time the conditions were spot-on! After deciding right foot forward wasn't my thing today I tried a Luc Salomons (Trademark pending?)(a left-first run ending in or next to the reeds) which resulted in a Max speed that is less than 1 km/h under my PB :). After this the WNW-wind increased and the chop got higher again. At this point I decided to call it a day. Had a lot of fun. Great start of the year!
