First of all, thanks Pat and Tania for all the help, you both really are very good friends !!!!
Arrived early at the beach, and Ron was already cruising with 7.0
Rigged optimistic and took 5.5m with the FF Speed (my dad took 6.4 and 84l).
First half an hour underpowered (three 67-70 km/u runs).
The wind increased (for a moment my FF Speed was too big). Did 1 run in a big gust => while trying to abord my run I crashed hard, trapeze line snapped but for the rest evrything was ok.
Run 73km/u and 2s 77,4km/u. New PR on 2s, very nice on my 9 years old “big” speedboard !
Walked back to the car (20min), rigged the Missile XS and repared the harness line.
Walked to the water again, ready for breaking my pb's, something went into my eye and I didn’t see anything anymore.
Went to the hospital, some blood in my eye, so now I see a bit “foggy”.
At the end everything is fine but it was a scary experience because I don’t now what happend and I saw nothing true my left eye for more then an hour.
Very happy with my new PR 2s on the FF Speed, but I feel this is not the limit yet after my 75,15km/u 10s run (also a PR for me), one week ago, with this combo.
I hope my eye is ok and I can unleash the Missile XS, because I haven’t set foot on tis board yet this vacation ...
