Driven by wind event organised by Whitey - 2nd day of competition but first day for me....... oh i was rusty and found the conditions bloody hard. Plenty of wind but loads of chop - there was some weird waves for about 50 metres from 350-400m down the course. Had a few big crashes but at least my kits still in one piece even if the body isn't. My best 500m of the day (between the cameras) would have been my first run of the day but i mistook a photographer using his camera on a tripod for the finish line when infact he was about 150 metres short of the finish!!!! What a mistake as i sheeted out and eventually went past the official finish finish camera sheeting out and not in the harness doing about 30 knots...... now i won't make that mistake again. Whitey is doing a great job at getting DBW up and running - great job dave and well done.
