I was lucky in the first run of the day at Devils Bay, Karpathos. With a tighter angle I was able to get right on the beach to give the run a better downwind angle and smoother surface, all the while a big gust kept me flying down the entire course. Had a nasty wipe out at the end. Well, it was more like a bail out as I could not get out of the straps and was heading full speed toward the rocks at the end of the course. Stopped short only a few meters and ended up twisting my angle badly. But after such a good run you get even more addicted to speed, and just keep on going. Mahalo.
