Max. 2 sec. 31.25knots and over 30.24 knot 500m! - happy about that!

Solid wind cane through SW-SSW 25-30 gusting maybe over 30knots.

Rigged 6.2 Mach3 and Starboard iSonic 87L and the old Fiberspar boom I had recently cut down.

Water was super choppy as usual. The goal for this session was to get more comfortable and tune my gear so I can do more runs and not get so knackered so quickly. I want to get my harness lines set so I can relax at some points and conserve engergy and look for the opportunutity to do the hell bearaway,

Had to come in and add more downhaul and moved the mast track back 1cm. That felt a bit better.

Then I got hoisted in a gust at the far end of Shoal Bay and landed heavily on my boom. When I restarted I heard a creak and felt the boom move and thought this doesn't feel good! Made it back to the other side to discover my boom was bent. I thought carbon broke not bend!? So that was the end of the session which was a bummer as it was the first time I used the boom after having it for a few years as a Windfoil rig back up boom and spent $70 importing new boom twistlocks plus an afternoon cutting the boom down. That's speedsailing for ya!
