Ivanko, epic Defi training

Mother nature and I got off to a bad start. Freezing conditions with Hail and showers the first 30 minutes. 
After switching to the 7.4 with Manta 71 (bottom tuned by Gertjan Nieuwenkamp)  37 fin without extra weight because that’s not allowed during the Defi, the conditions became heavenly. 

12 km stretches from Stellendam to Scharendijke, full bore on the medium gear. NM over 60km/hr in open water from Kabbelaar back to den Osse. Just short of the spot record on the mediun gear sailed by Hans Kreisel last year.
After 30 minutes without wind at the outer damms of Zonnemaire the wind machine went into overdrive after a shower, resulting in a 10 sec run of 71,8 and a max speed of 74.48.

Over 40 knots on the medium gear, hell yes, bring it on.
