Maybe the last sail at Clayton channel.  1 last ditch to try and ride the isonic 50 speed board at clayton and do a nautical mile - but it didn't happen like planned.  Early start after big night out and no wind on arrival.  It gave me time to take 2 boards and sail the 500m hike to the water's edge - i wont be missing this walk!!!!  I decided to rig the 5.8 so i could put it on the speed board and i was also hanging to try the 24cm c3 venom when it picked up - yeah right - should have rigged 6.6.  The wind was mainly 10 - 15 knots with the odd 18 knot gust - along with alot of 5 knot lulls.  Not the greatest day out and certainly not the way we all want to remember the clayton channel.  At least we did get a ride.  It was great to catch up with the crew and have a laugh over some beers and Tim has got some photo's and video.

One of the hightlights of the day was when Sam and me hoped on our boards and soon realised we hadn't put our harnesses on.  That would be okay but our car's were parked 1 km walk away - DOH!
