Checked Zonnemaire and looked  eppic but good. There was nobody there unfortunatly and I wasn't going on the water on my own with  40 knots off shore winds. Similar situation with Dwars in den weg.

Grevelingdam is a crap spot with this direction but at least it's waist deep at the shore side so tried some runs. Gusts were too short and after the showers wind shifted to 240 degrees so my journey continued to Herkingen. Rigged 5.5 and expected the wind to pick up after the squal line had passed. This didn't materialize.. bummer.

I was amazed that I did not find a single soul on the water so next time I come with a zodiac and a back up caddy a.k.a Dad

So now I finally understand  how storm chasers feel............
